EveryMatrix declared robust outcomes for 2021, with earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) expanding by 65% to €19.7 million.
The business-to-business (B2B) gaming technology supplier unveiled its 2021 financial outcomes, encompassing the firm’s performance in the final quarter and the whole year of 2021.
EveryMatrix witnessed strong growth in 2021, owing to its past product investments. The firm successfully introduced new consumer brands, broadened its operations with top-tier operators, and made significant progress in the US market. Throughout the global health crisis, the company continued to recruit and invest in development.
The newly released report indicates that gross profit (revenue minus direct expenses, such as game providers) in the final quarter of 2021 was €13.9 million, an increase of 26% compared to the same period last year. Gross profit for the entire year 2021 grew by 32% year-on-year to €51.5 million.
EBITDA also displayed robust growth, reaching €4.4 million, a 23% increase year-on-year. EBITDA for the full year 2021 expanded by 65% year-on-year to €19.7 million.
EveryMatrix Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ebbe Groes stated, “I am delighted to announce outstanding results for the final quarter and full year 2021, including robust gross profit and EBITDA growth, new customer additions, and agreements signed.”
While the regulatory landscape in Germany has undergone significant shifts, impacting the gambling sector, we still managed to achieve this outcome. This accomplishment showcases the positive effects of EveryMatrix’s bold investments in products and technology, resulting in a strong, diverse, and competitive product lineup. This allows us to attract new clientele.
EveryMatrix continues to invest in the appealing US regulated market and made notable strides in the final quarter. After fulfilling the licensing prerequisites in New Jersey, licensing applications were submitted in West Virginia and Michigan during the fourth quarter. More applications are slated for submission in the US and Canada shortly. Several new distribution and partnership agreements were established, including a gaming partnership agreement with Golden Nugget Online Gaming.
