For ten years, Boylesports has proudly supported the Irish Grand National, and this year, they’re demonstrating even greater appreciation for the dedicated stable personnel.
The ‘Most Polished’ horse award, backed by Boylesports, has been increased to a generous €1,000 (approximately $1,083). This esteemed race, featuring a total prize pool of half a million euros, is a pinnacle event in the Irish racing season. This year, the ‘Most Polished’ accolade serves as a fantastic method for Boylesports to recognize the commitment of the stable crew.
Irish Olympic show jumping and eventing athlete, Joseph Murphy, will be the judge to observe as he selects the most stylish horse from the paddock. Murphy himself anticipates returning to competition as a member of the Irish Eventing team this summer.
“It’s a commendable action by Boylesports,” remarked Murphy. “It’s wonderful to witness the recognition given to the men and women who care for these horses. They are an imaginative group, and I’m certain they will put forth their best efforts come Easter Monday.”
To inspire their creativity, Boylesports has assembled special pampering baskets filled with grooming essentials. Imagine stencils, shimmering blue hoof oil, vibrant plaiting bands – all the tools needed for a winning appearance, along with some professional grooming advice.
